Practical guide

Create backgrounds that are ready to ship.

Start with a stable composition

A good animated gradient begins as a strong still image. Place the major color fields first, make sure overlaid text remains readable, and only then add movement. A static poster also gives you a safe fallback for reduced-motion users.

Motion should be slow and continuous

Background animation works best when it supports the interface rather than competing with it. Long, seamless loops and small position changes usually feel more polished than fast hue shifts or abrupt direction changes.

Respect reduced motion

Production websites should respond to prefers-reduced-motion and replace movement with a stable frame. The current studio creates the base composition; timeline and video export are part of the next editor stage.

Common questions

Know what you are exporting.

Does the editor upload my design?

No. Editing and current exports happen locally in your browser.

Can I use the result commercially?

Yes. You can use gradients you create in personal and commercial work.

Which export should I choose?

Use CSS for lightweight web backgrounds, SVG for scalable design assets, and PNG for the most predictable visual result.
